We also wanted to tap into Nosto’s expert perspective about emerging ecommerce trends. The Nosto team identified two key developments:

  • Ecommerce replatforming: Particularly in the DACH region, brands are migrating from Shopware 5 to newer platforms like Shopware 6 or Shopify, reshaping the competitive landscape.
  • Scaledown of physical stores: Economic pressures are driving merchants toward increased reliance on ecommerce, highlighting the importance of sophisticated online customer experiences like those provided by Nosto.
